Instructor of the strength training and conditioning classes over at Central Rock Gym Rochester. At nights I teach a fitness class which is aimed at helping climbers improve their overall functional strength for bouldering and sport climbing. The class introduces patrons to traditional free weight exercises, cross functional training circuits, and climbing centric movements utilizing resistance bands. With emphasis always being placed on proper form and good technique, I aim to assist climbers in their journey to climb harder and crush their projects!

As a member of the Software Design Verification team at L3Harris, I was responsible for developing and executing automated test cases that helped our department QA test upcoming software release builds for the Falcon IV Radio - a tactical communication device used by the Air Force and Navy. By using a combination of Icarus and IBM's Rational DOORs, I wrote 30 automated tests which verified the networking and RF capabilities of the company's radios, ensuring they aligned with customer requirements. These tests also successfully exposed several different bugs and defects within the software which we prioritized and tracked through JIRA, Confluence, and MySQL. Additionally my team specialized in performing reliability and performance testing on broken out RF and Wi-Fi modules using Wireshark and Packman, verifying these components met the required metrics for ITAR and Federal Regulation standards.

I was the Product Owner for a Mindex statement of work team which was contracted out to Paychex. Our team was responsible for updating Paychex's W2 print workflow, in order to comply with newly implemented IRS regulations for printing and filing W2 tax forms.My primary job responsibilities included collaborating with heads of Paychex's program management and software development departments to translate high level company vision into tangible, agile-backed product plans. I drove the delivery of several new technical features by defining project scope and prioritizing development backlogs. Under my leadership the project successfully resulted in a 10% overall decrease in the time required for Paychex to process and print W2 forms for their NY customers.

As a Software Test Engineer at Vuzix, I designed and implemented 12 automated test suites which served to verify the software integrity of M-Series Smart Glass devices running native Android. I employed a mixture of Java, Android SDK, and UI Automator to develop the tests, then integrated them into the M-Series build pipeline using a combination of Gradle and Jenkins. Upon completion, these test cases were used to establish a practice of nightly automated testing, which ultimately replaced the antiquated manual testing process used previously by the company. Additionally, I used JUnit and JaCoCo to provide a visual representation of our test metrics to our dev teams, giving them insights to critical data points like code coverage percentage, number of tests failures, and total number of tests executed.Later on I was also responsible for testing the Wi-Fi capabilities of the company's Blade Smart Glass product which also ran a custom version of Android. I used Python and pywifi module to ensure the device's Wi-Fi component could connect to Wi-Fi networks of various security types, then analyzed the signal strength and level of packet loss via Wireshark.

As a Software Developer I for a Mindex back-end delivery team, I was responsible for building and maintaining RESTful API services which were consumed by Paychex's Flex application. My team and I leveraged cutting edge technologies such as Java, SpringBoot, Apache Tomcat, and MongoDB to develop RESTful endpoints. I also wrote unit tests in JUnit, and full on end-to-end integration tests via a combination of Mockito, Postman, SoapUI, and JSON. Furthermore my team used the containerization tools Docker and Gradle to build our application and deploy our API services into the cloud using Openshift.

I was hired as an iOS developer on the Mobile Development team at SapientNitro. My responsibilities included collaborating with our team of UX designers to design, prototype, then implement various screens and UI elements within TD Bank's financial iOS App. I used Swift 2.0 to develop the screens and XCTest framework + Appium to ensure my code was covered by unit tests. My main contributions to the project included writing the app's login screen and the app's statement viewer page where finance related pdfs could be opened and viewed.

Job duties included personal training for faculty, staff, and students, equipment maintenance and repair, and new hire onboarding and training. I also spear headed a weight training circuit redesign project in order to improve the overall experience of the facilities for older guests.
