As the Senior Design Engineer for a leading designer and manufacturer of light communication equipment, I collaborate with key internal stakeholders to evaluate concepts for requested products that are innovative and lead to increased profitability. Working with the marketing and engineering departments developing top level products through sketching, 3-d models and rapid prototyping. Designed all aspects of the products from initial concept to manufacture including the package design. Created working prototypes using various techniques and hand tools. Used skills in MIG welding, ARC welding, and efficiencies in blacksmith metal working techniques to create high end products that meet and exceed the customer expectations.

Designed and fabricated exhibits; specifically the design and layout of artifact cases, artifact placement, and exhibit lighting. Collaborated with the exhibit curator to design to a fabricated completion of all the exhibits. Considered ergonomics and aesthetic appeal when designing all aspect of the exhibit.
