I was employed to look after the stocks and warehouse levels, insuring popular stock was always available to ongoing projects and domestic over the trade counter customers. On observance of my growing competence, I was trusted to manage invoice receivables/payable for over the trade counter customers, controlling supplier/ customer limits and chasing end of month invoices . Due to my high performance I was promoted into the commercial department where I was trained to survey, estimate and undertake bid proposals, and project operations. Dealing with costing, P&L reporting on projects, and creating presentations for large scheme opportunities. I also structured internal systems such as ISO 9001, and asbestos license compliance, which required a bespoke administration system for compliance. I then quickly moved into the role of bid manager and sales manager, in which my high light was securing a large 4 yr contract with a local Housing Association (circa £5m contract).
