In 2009, Peter managed this boutique resources and mining recruitment agency in Darwin and over the next two years developed this brand through key mining and engineering accounts. Post GFC, the agency had taken a huge revenue hit and was on the verge of being closed. Through Peter’s stewardship, profits were made within the first year with a healthy pipeline in place.successfully developing labour hire policies and procedures in line with this operation, ensuring all current temp staff had correct induction and quality assurance in line with company protocols. Peter developed a branch business plan in line with the company's strategic direction and up to date with current market trends.Under Peter's management the Darwin branch increased business revenue by 200%, as well as boosting the KI Group brand in the current local market.

Peter established a highly successful international Recruitment brand in Darwin, Northern Territory. Working from a serviced office, he developed key accounts and national PSA’s and within a year, moved into a standalone branch.Engaging well known recruitment methodologies to grow the Branch, he had a total of 8 consultants employed under the 'Kelly Services' Brand.Peter's business development skills enabled the expansion from a serviced office to leased premises within the first year. This was achieved by intense business development into new markets and the national account management of preferred supplier platforms.This also included the day to day management of all aspects of recruitment operations including a strategic market focus and the overall management of all profit and loss statements including accurate forecasting.

Peter managed the overall operations of the remote Top End Employment contract on behalf of the Australian Government; including Work for the Dole (WftD), Job Services Australian (JSA), Community Work Coordinator (CWC) and Community Development Employment Program (CDEP) throughout various Aboriginal communities of;* Darwin* Belyuen* Wadeye (Port Keats)* Gunbalanya (Oenpelli) * Maningrida* Ramingining * Gapuwiyak* YirrkalaPeter was responsible for the day-to-day management of these various commonwealth employment contracts operating across the Top End remote Employment Service Areas (ESA); including the delivery of employment and work experience project management frameworks.Within this role, Peter had intense operational exposure with all communities involved across a broad geographical area and was often in multiple communities meeting with key stakeholders relating to economic development and jobs growth.Caseload management included the monitoring and auditing of in excess of 500+ client file case notes and all other documentation, ensuring all are relevant and exceed the minimum contractual standards; Within these various contracts Peter and his team delivered on-going Gap and Training needs analysis data and performance reviews on mainly Indigenous focused caseload of clients.Training and mentoring staff to ensure performance exceeds minimum key performance indicator standards.Achieving key performance indicators/targets as specified within the Australian employment contract. Construct and deliver Job focused Indigenous training material.Establishment of extensive employment networks and clientele base across the broad job services network whilst maintaining and reporting statistics relating to the provision of employment services to the regional manager.
