Project: CSPlus portal – Credit Suisse’s new client portal for Fixed Income products. Includes Research, Analytics and Trading.Role: Lead BA for FX ExecutionWorked as the SME on trading FX Cash and Options, as well as Rates. - FX Cash includes Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs and Precious Metals live rate trading. FX Spot Order management including regular and Algo based.- FX Options included Vanilla, Barriers, Windowed, Digital, Bets and exotics. Live rate and orders. - Rates - simple OTR US Treasuries, live rate and orders.Analyzed the existing trading products to understand their strengths and weaknesses. Produced gap analysis.Worked with the business to understand what else they required, as well assigning priorities. Wrote the functional requirements for FX Cash and Options, working with the Business groups, graphic designers and different technical groups. Assisted the test team in the writing of the test cases from the requirements. I wrote the business specific ones.Analyzed the pricing and trade flows through the various existing systems to understand what impact the new system would have on them.Tested the whole system, focusing on pricing and trade flows. Ensuring that the correct trade details were sent to the back office. Front to back, full trade life cycle. Wrote an automated test pack using Ranorex.With my in depth knowledge of the many systems involved I defined and implemented a tactical on-boarding process. Used this to add several thousand users in a limited time.Working on the strategic on-boarding process, defining how users can be automatically added to the many different systems, across Fixed Income not just CSPlus.Projected managed various tasks, as needed.

My time here has been spread over four main jobs. I was instrumental in the innovation, creation and implementation of many products. All roles have involved working with the Bank’s Customers and Traders for products including FX, Equities, Warrants (exchange listed options/derivatives) and Bonds; principally in the Front Office arena but including Middle and Back office systems. I have always been a hands on Manager.

This time included a three year secondment to our New York Office from 1996 to 1999.I was the global development manager for all products at CrossMar, a subsidiary of Citigroup. This group was responsible for innovating new products in the financial sector, principally for Citibank but also for other banks. My role was to manage four groups involved in different product areas including both front and back offices across a number of financial instruments. I was involved in all aspects of the projects, from the initial idea generation, through to implementation and beyond. This includes visiting customers, at all levels, to gather requirements and formulate the project scope, size and feasibility. I was directly involved in the sales process for both pre and post-sales support. Our customers span the globe and include banks, brokers, fund managers and medium to large corporates.
