Performance Leadership CoachSport Leadership Accelerator Aug 2023 - PresentWaterloo, Ontario, CanadaSport and Recreation leaders have a lot on their plate, now more that ever. They need to raise more money, engage a talented staff team, effectively engage Board, funders, alumni, senior officials within the sport or university system, as well as grow an army of supporters to act as ambassadors and volunteers. All this in a rather challenging financial environment. What would you do if you could engage a coach and community that saves you time, leaves you with feeling more confident, gives you a more balanced life and ultimately accelerates your career. That is the promise of the Sport Leadership Accelerator. I am a big champion of Sport and Recreation Organizations. I have been a long serving Director Athletics and Recreation at two universities in Canada, a manager, Board Executive within both a Provincial and National sport organizations, a donor, fundraiser, and volunteer. Today I spend my time coaching sport and recreational managers, Executive Directors and Directors. Athletes excel with the support of a Coach. To be a high performing manager/Executive in Sport and Recreation you too should have a confidential Performance Coach. I would be happy to be that coach. Director Athletics And RecreationUniversity Of Toronto At Mississauga May 1991 - May 1998Peter transformed the Athletic and Recreation program at University of Toronto at Mississauga from a staff driven model to a student-leader driven program. His vision for the facility expansion he put forth in 1992 was finally accomplished in 2004. One of his achievements was to negotiate a contract with the Toronto Argonaut Football Club of the Canadian Football League (CFL) to build and house their football operations and practice facility on the UTM Campus. This initial deal resulted in over $1 million in revenue for the campus in addition to the media and public relations exposure. In addition to his role as Director Athletics and Recreation, Peter also coached the UTM men's Hockey Team and Football team. -
