I’m a Tax Partner specialising in the Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare ('IGH') sectors and am the National Head of Creative Sector Tax Reliefs.- In my IGH role I am a senior member of KPMG’s National IGH Tax leadership and lead the Midlands IGH / Public Sector tax team with a focus on Further and Higher Education; Local Authorities; Social Housing; Public Health and Charities.- In my Creative Sector role I work across all sectors including video games, film and TV, orchestra, museums & galleries and theatre tax reliefs.I have extensive experience of delivering corporation tax advice including international tax planning and risk mitigation, corporation tax risk reviews, housing development structuring, transfer pricing considerations, establishing partnerships and tax efficient group restructuring and subsidiary creation including SDLT planning.For example, I support universities with ensuring compliance with overseas tax regulations and mitigating the tax risks associated with overseas partnerships and collaborations, through contract reviews, managing local compliance obligations and advising on tax efficient structures through which to undertake educational and student recruitment activities.Within the Local Authority sector, I advise on the establishment of subsidiary companies and larger group structures in a tax efficient manner.
