Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is the top technology university in the world. As part of the Sloan School of Management, the Centre for Information Systems Research (CISR) conducts field-based research on how organisations digitally transform. Reporting to the Chairman of MIT Centre for Information Systems Research, responsible for leading digital transformation and innovation research on best practices to drive business value from technology. He was responsible for acquisition of sponsors across Europe and then Asia pacific. This role entailed providing advisory services across 90+ sponsors including: • Sharing best practices for driving business value from digitisation. Presentation at over 30 annual global events for CxOs in the USA (at MIT), in Europe, and Asia Pacific. Organised the MIT Asia Pacific events. • Advisory workshops on digitisation topics for senior executives at Board, CEO, CIO and CMO levels. For example: AMP Insurance, ANZ Bank, Australia Post, BNP, HSBC, Origin Energy, Australian Taxation Office, Coles, Foxtel, NZ Government, Department of Immigration, and Woolworths He has conducted research with organisations and published on best practices for digital management issues, including:• Enhancing digital business models • Maximizing business impact of digital innovation (e.g. PepsiCo, SAP)• Customer-Centric design (e.g. Credit Suisse, AMP, ATO)• Succeeding with Mobile Apps (e.g. Westpac Banking Corporation, Woolworths)• Driving business value from data (e.g. US-SEC, Newscorp)• Global digital governance (e.g. Computershare, Tesco)• Cloud strategy (e.g. P&G, J&J, Newscorp)
