Sadly we had to shut the business in December 2022 after my wife’s battle with long COVID left her unable to run the business. Thank you to our wonderful customers that have supported us over the years.Seastarz (www.seastarzswimschool.com) is really my wife’s baby! She trained as a swim instructor and dissatisfied with the service offered by local swim schools decided to set up her own. Whilst we would love to build our own purpose-built training pool, currently this is cost prohibitive so we have started the school as a mobile business where we use our expertise to teach babies, children & adults in their own pool. This is a lot more convenient, provides a much better learning experience that is delivering excellent results and is no more expensive than using a traditional swim school. We have been awarded Austswim WA Swim School of the Year 2015We have found an excellent location for our pool and are currently looking to raise funds to turn this dream into a reality.

Founder and Director of Ezybooks Software Pty Ltd (www.ezybookssoftware.com.au). Ezybooks is an easy-to-use bookkeeping system for small businesses. It is particularly aimed at tradies and other service providers, such as instructors, consultants, IT contractors, etc. Designed for novice users, its ‘spreadsheet style’ of data entry has been designed to be simple to use even for those with little or no bookkeeping experience.I designed and wrote Ezybooks when I initially arrived in Australia in 2006 and worked as an independent IT contractor. Bookkeeping is a fundamental skill for anybody that is self-employed or runs their business yet I found that competitor’s products were simply too hard to use and likely to put off novice users. I partnered with my accountant, Joseph Sangaicomo, founder of Taxpro to bring Ezybooks to market. We currently provide Ezybooks on a subscription basis as part of Taxpro’s service offering. Taxpro provide help and advice to get you up and running with the system, check your data & submit your Business Activity Statements and prepare your end of year accounts.We are currently looking to re-write Ezybooks to take it to the next level as a hybrid cloud/app solution and are looking for investment partners to help realise this vision.

As Engagement Manager my role combines account management, sales and pre-sales responsibilities. My primary focus is on opportunities that involve new technology and integration of NEC’s specialist technology with software solutions, in particular the Microsoft product stack. For example, we have integrated NEC NeoFace facial recognition technology with Dynamics CRM, Exchange and Skype for Business. I also specialise in BI and analytics, having worked as a BI consultant for many years, managed the NEC WA Microsoft BI Team of consultants and founded the Microsoft Excel and Power BI User Group in Perth. I am skilled in data visualisation having been trained and mentored by Stephen Few and I am also trained in Total Information Quality Management and have good knowledge of Profisee Master Data Management.
