Responsible for managing a network of weather and hydrometric stations within Metro Vancouver Watersheds. I dabble in hydrology, climatology, meteorology, and various other tasks.

I teach CAC Avalanche Skills Training courses throughout BC. I have experience teaching skiers/boarders, hikers/snowshoers, snowmobilers, and various organizations including North Shore Rescue, Professional Ski Patrollers, Metro Vancouver, and the RCMP.

Revelstoke

I worked on a large-scale Curriculum Development Project as an SME on the Mountain Weather Courses and Avalanche Search and Rescue. I also teach on CAA industry courses including the Weather Courses, the Resource and Transportation Avalanche Management course, and the Mapping course.

Providing avalanche information to recreational users throughout Western Canada.

I assist in providing hazard and risk assessments for a variety of companies operating in avalanche terrain in BC, Alberta, and the Yukon. In addition, I provide on-site avalanche forecasting and control.

North Vancouver

I was a part of a 3 person initial attack wildland firefighting crew based in North Vancouver. Our purpose was to manage forest fires within Metro Vancouver Watershed and Regional Parks. In this role I also produced fire weather forecasts and fire behaviour predictions using REDapp. Key projects I worked on include producing a divisional Monitoring Management Plan for the large remote weather station network, and coordinating the replacement of an alpine weather station in the Seymour Watershed.
