Co-founder and Program Chair for Silicon Valley Video Group- a subsidiary of Sports Video Group. This annual event and forum were born out of the SVG community, an industry network of Sports Broadcast engineers, creatives, and executives. Media teams from Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Oracle, LinkedIn and many others are active participants and contributors to the Silicon Valley Video forum. While at Microsoft Production Studios, I co-founded this forum to build a network of similar (and sometimes not-so-similar) minded engineering, creative and executive teams to share, network, and improve toolsets that typically were built for broadcasters. We now have a voice, and a forum where we can hopefully bring standards and best practices to corporate media teams across the board.

With a dynamic background managing live production systems at Microsoft Production Studios, I orchestrated the engineering of CEO productions and studio technologies. My responsibilities spanned overseeing CAPEX and OPEX budgets, designing 'lightweight' flypacks for CEO townhalls, and serving as a vital link between the broadcast community and internal Microsoft teams at Azure and Teams. A key contributor to the Teams “Broadcast Development Kit”, I fostered partnerships with Microsoft and Cloud-based production industry leaders such as Evertz and Grass Valley.

Responsible for Seattle based DIRECTV Sports corporate HQ A/V technology infrastructure. Developed CAPEX and OPEX budgets for both broadcast technologies and facility operations.

Managed and maintained MPEG Compression systems for Tandberg/Ericsson's customers- namely DirecTV's Regional Uplink Facility in Yakima WA.

Responsible for FOX Network and Cable satellite and fiber compression systems, satellite uplinks, and TOC systems. Co-managed FOX Networks Earth Station- supporting all 200 FOX Affiliates. Transmission EIC for (fiber/satellite) for flagship broadcasts such as Superbowl, World Series, American Idol Finale's, etc. Responsible for Dolby Encoding of first ever 5.1 surround sound Super Bowl in AC3.

Transmission/operations engineer for FOX Sports NET Los Angeles Technical Operations (LATO). Team mirrored the Houston FOX RSN facility managing all transmission engineering for hundreds of annual sport and news events for FOX Sports. Part of early development team supporting worlds first national network of ATM encoding platforms. Also managed MPEG-2 distribution compression systems for FX, FOX Sports West, and Speed Channels.
