Since my start at HD in June of 2016, I have had the pleasure of working with talented individuals, all with varying backgrounds. From back-end technical developers, print artists, and medical illustrators/3D designers, to scientific writers, strategists, and project managers. Everyone I’ve work with has helped me learn about the scientific communications field and how different it is from the consumer world.Having studied the deeper nuances of integrating user interface design to create a more pleasant user experience at RIT, I’ve leveraged these practices at HD in order to clearly communicate large amounts of complicated data and medical information to medical and healthcare professionals. I’ve worked on augmented and virtual reality projects with the Microsoft HoloLens and Oculus Rift, as well as numerous design and development projects for responsive websites, and iPhone/iPad applications.

As the head Graphic Designer, I created many different pieces of media for RIT conferences and public events. In addition to these smaller in-house projects, I worked on a semester-long branding project with the desired result of unifying all 13 departments that are within RIT's Student Affairs and creating a cohesive branding guide the departments can use so their social media and professional identities can look structured and identical.

On a weekly basis, I would work with my design team to brainstorm concepts for client proposals and then render the ideas through Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.Additionally, I frequently participated in client pitches at Bristol Myers Squibb, demonstrating HCG's new Virtual Reality experience as well as informing clients about the possibilities of expansion and adaptation as the technology evolves over the next few years. I also designed a responsive template for HCG's new pitch micro-sites and ultimately translated the design into code, and launched it on the web.
