My job consisted of embedding photos, editing copy and publishing articles written by the company's global researchers on jato.com. As they are required to write in both their local language and English, it was my job to make sure that the English articles read as well as they could do, remove spelling mistakes and correct grammar and syntax errors that are the result of authors writing in a second language. It also involved a lot of formatting work. Show less

In my 16 months with the company, I managed to shake off Motor Sports Now's slightly 'thrown together' look and reposition it as a worthy, informative and, most importantly, entertaining read. Just before I left I put the Spring issue to bed, with a complete redesign - the main target I set myself when I joined TRMG. I was also responsible for the first F1 Test Programme to be published (that I instigated, researched and wrote all the copy for too), the Extreme Wheels Show-guide 2005; all 2005 Silverstone race programmes including WTCC/Tourist Trophy; LMES; BTCC and British F3/GT. I also assisted production of the Formula 1 Official Programmes and have had my own writing published in Motor Sports Now!, Auto Italia Magazine, The Wales Rally GB Official Programme and the MPH Showguide.
