I acted as the lead contact and sustainability educator for international high school students visiting Vancouver during 2-week programs, with the goal of connecting them to nature and inspiring them to take action upon return to their home community. I was involved in:• Delivering workshops, activities, organizing meals, and being the onsite host each day • Planning & developing curriculum objectives, activities, logistics, transportation plans and program flow • Helping participants develop a group project to implement upon return to the Philippines • Aiding in the program evaluation and post-program improvement process

In my role as one of the facilitators of this 29 day program, I was involved in:• Educating participants about leadership, sustainability, and the natural and social history of the Fraser River • Mentoring participants in developing realistic sustainability projects to implement upon return to their home regions • Liaising with First Nations groups, guest speakers and community groups• Ensuring the physical & mental well-being and growth of the participants; managing group dynamics and time flow• Running camp and food systems, and coordinating community events on route

The Rivershed Society promotes the health of BC's waterways through watershed CPR: conservation, protection & restoration, as well as education. During my time with the organization, we developed several regional, multi-day paddle programs (River Clinics) throughout the province to get people outside and connect with our rivers. In my role as the project coordinator & lead facilitator of the River Clinics, I was involved in:• Developing multi-day environmental education and leadership programs from conception to conclusion, including workflow development, scheduling, consultations, administration, communication, etc.• Establishing partnerships with local post-secondary institutions, First Nation & community groups, aswell as key individuals to support the program (ex.
