I have a PhD (dog behaviour/ welfare) investigating how dogs experience their veterinary visits and strategies we might use to reduce stress in the veterinary context. I have a Bachelor of Science (Hons), with a specialisation in animal behaviour, and a Professional Canine Trainer accreditation (Pet Professional Accreditation Board). I have a background in training and development, coaching animal behaviour and training skills, animal management and research. I have been involved in the dog training industry since she was 12, when my mother, Mim Edwards, started Adelaide Pet Dog Training. And I am very passionate about animal behaviour and welfare and the amazing achievements and relationships that force-free training facilitates.
