I am responsible of the development of the Quality Management System to our both factories. Defining and developing Project routines together with the team fills also my day. Also New Offering Development belongs to my tasks.

I was responsible of our company’s own Engineering and Bill of Materials functions. Team was in our production facility in Poland. I had team of six persons. My key task was to lead the daily execution of engineering tasks related to new products and boats already in production. Participating in developing company routines and processes was also part of my work.

I was responsible of our company’s outsourced boat production. Production facilities located in Finland and in Poland. I had a small multinational team of six persons. My key tasks were planning the production to meet sales forecasts and controlling that boats produced meet our quality, technical, cost requirements and other financial targets our owner Yamaha Motor Europe set to us. Further I had to secure that cross-border teamwork was fully functional.

I was responsible of new aluminium boat projects and managing the product development team of Buster Boats. There were five people reporting directly to me and I controlled a wide range of subcontractors making design and technical calculations to us. Testing boats was an essential part of my job. My main duty was the new offering development but I was also responsible of the planning function of the business unit. I was involved in the selling of hall solutions directly to the customers and also via the representative’s network. Further I actively participated as technical support for sales personnel. I had four people reporting to me.

In the beginning I was in charge of the development project of a new boat brand aside Buster boats. Later on I was managing the total product development of Fiskars Boats. I had five people reporting to me. In everyday work I actively communicated, controlled and guided a wide range of partners also.

I worked as a Project Director and a Bid Manager in Patria for several years. As a Project Director in the defense industry area I was responsible of the execution of domestic and international large scale delivery projects (up to 200 M€) and smaller development projects. My duties included daily project management, budgeting and estimating the work load and financial figures, negotiating the change orders with the customer, preparing contract amendments, planning and developing the invoicing… Show more I worked as a Project Director and a Bid Manager in Patria for several years. As a Project Director in the defense industry area I was responsible of the execution of domestic and international large scale delivery projects (up to 200 M€) and smaller development projects. My duties included daily project management, budgeting and estimating the work load and financial figures, negotiating the change orders with the customer, preparing contract amendments, planning and developing the invoicing procedures, ensuring that the time schedule was met and that the customer satisfaction was high. As a Bid Manager my responsibilities included transferring the customer requirements to our organization, preparation and combination of the technical and commercial parts of the quotations and also coordination of the offer calculation and presenting the economical figures to our own organization. I was responsible of the delivery projects of special glass structures for luxury cruise ships which were built in Finland, Germany and Spain. My duties included marketing and sales activities, controlling the design, building up the sub-contracting network, classification of the structures, quality control and everyday project management from installation to the warranty period issues. During the installation phases I was responsible of the site management and control.
