At heart, I am a grassroots activist aspiring to work in international development. Passionate about climate change mitigation and global education, I am inspired by young leaders in my generation who fight for progressive climate change policy and environmental justice. Though my advocacy and activism began in High School when I founded Activists United, a social and political activist group, I have found my stride at Bowdoin College working with Bowdoin Votes and interning at Civic Nation supporting the effort to increase voter registration and mobilization. Most recently I had the pleasure of interning at Governor Baker's Office, working directly with constituents of Massachusetts and government agencies to solve complex issues and recording advocations for change. Through my experiences, I have learned I am above all a people-person. As a fluent English and Spanish speaker, I have no problem connecting to people local and abroad to make positive change for our future. I am optimistic for the progress of this generation, and I am excited to contribute my skillset to make the world a better place.
