Working in collaboration with the Blanton's Education and Marketing teams, I produced educational video content for K-12 and University courses. With the shift to remote learning in response to COVID-19, I was an integral part in facilitating the museum's art education outreach. I also created advertisements and other marketing materials, as needed.

I created video news and podcast content covering Texas politics and policy. One of my favorite pieces to produce and edit was a short documentary about Texas' hemp laws. Using my After Effects skills, I also created original content in collaboration with the Data Visuals team – including an explainer video for their new web app and social media animations.

I produced content for CNN's Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Duties included editing videos, creating graphics, writing copy, assisting with video pre-productions, and fact-checking. This role taught me best practices for managing social media accounts with 10MM+ followers. This was my second internship with the Social Publishing team.

Exposure TV is a student-led media initiative that addresses the exclusion of people of color and women within the classical music industry. We created video and social media content to showcase diverse student and industry composers. I spearheaded the creative aspects of our productions and managed our digital branding.

My work focused on creating digital resources for two different WNET initiatives, one covering poverty in America (Chasing the Dream) and another covering climate change (Peril & Promise). My capstone internship project was a 7-minute explainer videos about the partisan divide surrounding climate change.

I managed a 16-person video team and coordinated the production of 2-3 videos per week. As department head, I supervised all scriptwriting, production, and editing. Major accomplishments include doubling our production to approx. 25 videos per semester, revitalizing our social media engagement, and tripling our YouTube subscribers in a year.

OnRamps is an education program offering dual enrollment courses at Texas high schools, facilitated by UT Austin. I scripted, produced, and edited videos for Computer Science and Arts & Entertainment Technologies courses. These videos were an integral part of OnRamps' digital pedagogy and served approximately 2,500 students and faculty.

ngDesk is a helpdesk software that was launched in 2017. My duties included creating animated promotional videos for ngDesk, creating short tutorial videos for clients, and illustrating digital art for web and email marketing.
