I am a senior at the University of Delaware, pursuing an honors bachelor’s and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomechanical Engineering. I am from Staten Island, New York, and attended Monsignor Farrell High School, where I was the captain of the varsity hockey team and was also inducted into the National Honor Society. I currently play on the Men’s Ice Hockey team at the University of Delaware in the American Collegiate Hockey Association, and I am one of the assistant captains and serve on the executive board of the team as its secretary.Biomechanics is one of many fields I am passionate about, as I have designed devices used for medical research for osteoporosis and Parkinson’s disease. I am also very interested in control systems engineering, as I helped implement HVAC and building automation systems for firms such as the New York City Housing Authority and the School Construction Authority. I am well trained in softwares such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python, Arduino, SimScale, and physical manufacturing techniques including carpentry, milling, and electrical work.
