Technical Service Engineer
CurrentResponsibilities:• Leading Microsoft Intune and EUC teams across multiple projects, ensuring smooth operations.• Device enrollment: Enroll new devices via Intune using Autopilot and Entra ID.• Wipe/reset devices: Wipe and delete devices as required.• Manage device inventory: Ensure accurate device records and perform cleanup of inactive devices.• Monitor device compliance: Check reports for patching, updates, and compliance status.• Patch management: Deploy and monitor security and non-security patches for Windows and macOS devices.• Resolve patch failures: Troubleshoot and resolve patching or update failures on devices.• Manage security baselines: Implement and monitor security policies.• Handle feature updates: Oversee the distribution of Windows and macOS feature updates.• Software delivery: Deploy applications location-wise through Intune in a structured wave-wise manner as per customer requirements.• Raise change requests: Submit and review change requests for patch deployment.• User support: Assist with device setup, application issues, and VPN or network access problems remotely.• Lead and complete migration from Windows 10 to 11 through Intune, including readiness assessments and migration planning.• Providing L2/L3 End User support for Windows 10/11 and macOS Ventura/Sonoma, addressing software/hardware issues, logs, services, command-line tasks, registry edits, printer connectivity, driver installation, and VPN issues via remote sessions.• Balancing BAU tasks with project responsibilities across various technologies.• Implementing security/non-security patches, expediting critical patches for CVE vulnerabilities, and raising tickets with Microsoft when needed.• Cross-skilling teammates through ITIL sessions and conducting “Microsoft Intune - Patch Management” sessions within Fujitsu.• Creating SOPs and Ops manuals documents for future reference.• Providing training & evaluation to new joiners and maintaining their records.
