- Conducted research about modeling Paenibacillus dendritiformis bacteria colonies’ contours using a nonlocal interfacial partial differential equation and finding optimal parameters using neural networks and optimization algorithms- Created a multi-threaded program to extract bacteria’s contours from over 800 images in ∼ 80 seconds using Python’s OpenCV and Julia’s Images.jl- Rewrote C++ code to be compatible on a GPU (in CUDA) and interact with PyTorch- Trained a neural network to find the profile of the interaction kernels of the PDE model
