The journey with GaN Systems has reached a rational outcome and milestone for me, soon it will be in a much better hand and there is less I can contribute and influence. Wolfspeed; Powering more, consuming less.Leading a fantastic FAE team, having the greatest customers.I came to Cree Power before the time of Wolfspeed; 2015, as the first power FAE for EMEA. Over the next three years being the only power FAE for the region and grew the business with three other sales, with our internal sale colleague that made us five; the Pentagon of Wolfspeed Power in EMEA and help customers with converting from Si to SiC. The LED portion of Cree business get sold and I was tasked to help our LED FAEs to become Power FAEs, at the same time the Automotive became a separate segment and I decided to move to Automotive, because I believe that will be best for the company and shareholders. My last role before resignation was to lead a talented group of FAEs around the world for the company and being the regional Automotive FAE. I have worn many hats, because it was needed and in return I developed many skillsets; Technical marketing, Business Development, Sales, Application hands on Support through all the design phases, etc. I have worked with Engineers, team up with Partners (power module vendors, gate driver manufactures, test and measurement equipment and so on), built the power labs, train distributions, market study, competitive analysis, NPR, NPI, NTI, following the development of standard and guidelines; JC-70, AQG-324, and AEC-Q101. I have worked with bare die, discrete, in house power module and with partners. I love high voltage stuffs and used to call 650V for low voltage and under 1kW is low power.During my time at Wolfspeed and the team, there were ABB and Cree SiC partnership, Delhi Partnership, VW FAST partnership, ZF partnership and other confidential stuffs... many... many of them.I joined Cree when SiC was "a what?" I leaved then it was a "Wow!"If you read this and was a customer, partner, friend or colleague of mine, I would like to thank you for your support during my time at Cree and later on Wolfspeed.
