As an accelerated master's student in CS at UMass Amherst, I am particularly excited by ML's intersection with topics like healthcare, the environment, and food. Additionally, courses related to computer networks and security have blown my mind and it is a miracle that any of this works in the first place. I am very flexible in my career search-- if it's ethical, I'm game.On the side, I have strong feelings about baked goods, both in making and eating them (y'know, “macaron” != “macaroon” and I take that seriously). I have taken 15 cracks at making the perfect éclair. And by cracks, I mean the three eggs I lose every time I make the choux dough. There are many variables to mess with. It’s easy to forget how much thought goes into a four-bite pastry, which applies to most great things in life, including this web application I am typing on. I yearn to be a part of it.
