Worked alongside suppliers and retailers to develop and promote implementation guides for different aspects of the EDI framework in the UK.Developed a resource tracking tool to asses the impact of the Supply Chain project portfolio. This highlighted areas of concern to the executive board and helped to form recruiting policies in Plan, Customer Service and Distribution. Also highlighted the need for portfolio management and as a result a project management officer role was created.Developed and managed a third party software system implementation to automate manually entered customer orders reducing the department head count by two. Subsequently rolled out to 17 countries worldwide.Designed a new KPI to measure impact of IT issues on business performance following presentation to the CIO. The new measure was piloted in the UK and adopted across Europe. The results influenced the timing and priorities of multi-million Euro IT service improvement programs.Managed User Acceptance Testing across Supply Chain, Customer Development and Finance for a major software upgrade of the European SAP platform ensuring a smooth upgrade with no interruption to the business process and no loss of service to our customer base.Managed all IT aspects of a €12 million warehouse automation project, working with 3rd party providers, technical solution and process experts and factory project team.
