My responsibility is to collaborate with teachers to determine strategies for improvement in the classroom and development of skills for instruction. I am a resource for a teacher to meet their individual goals and grow as an educator.Responsibilities Include:Resource Provider: To expand teacher’s use of a variety of resources to improve instruction. Data Coach: To ensure that achievement data is used to drive decisions at all levels.Curriculum Specialist: To ensure implantation of adopted initiatives.Instructional Specialist: To align instruction and curriculum to meet the needs of all stake holders.Mentor: To increase the novice teacher’s instructional skills and to support induction into the systemic and cultural practices.Classroom Support: To increase the quality and effectiveness of classroom instructors.Learning Facilitator: To design collaborative, job-embedded, standards-based professional learning.Building Level Leader: To world collaboratively (with formal and informal leaders) to plan, implement, and assess change initiatives to ensure alignment with and focus on indented results, and to monitor transfer or practice from professional development into action.Change Catalyst: To create disequilibrium with the current state as an impetus to explore alternatives to current practices. My responsibilities include developing and delivering standards based curriculum for student mastery. This responsibility is inclusive of academic and social growth for every student in the classroom.Job Skills:Communication Skills: Speak clearly to students, other teachers, parents and administration officials.Instruction Skills: Explain new ideas and unfamiliar concepts with authority and in a clear and concise way so that students can understand while engaging the students' attention toward goal oriented achievement.Writing Skills: Utilize and convey an expertise in writing that demonstrates clarity, purpose, and craft.
