I'm Peter, and I'm a solutions consultant at Verse, working on turning our customers' challenges and opportunities into class-leading headless Shopify builds that allow their business to grow and thrive. My skills span business analysis, product ownership and management, technical consultancy, and team leadership, and I've worked on everything from CMS-driven lead generation sites to major enterprise e-commerce platforms, large-scale content platforms, highly interactive digital installations, and more.Working with great clients like Matalan, Microsoft, and the NHS has given me a broad range of skills across the entire digital space, helping me bring expertise to your project whether it's a brand new concept, a long-established legacy app, or anything in between. I've got lots of experience working within a wide range of workflows, from traditional waterfall to Agile, TDD/BDD, and more - I can fit into whatever method works best for the project.I'm just as comfortable leading teams and taking ownership of projects as I am fitting into existing structures, and I enjoy all stages of the development process – whether that be programming, project management, training, business analysis, or stakeholder management.I’ve been in specialising in e-commerce and marketing throughout my career, and recently that has led me to focus on headless technologies like the JAMstack, and Shopify Hydrogen - but I always have one eye on the future, whether that’s new technologies, new ways of working, or radical new concepts like AI or composable commerce.Outside of work, I'm the Editor-in-Chief at Anime UK News, the UK's largest online magazine covering Japanese entertainment such as anime, manga, and light novels. I also help run several online communities, read lots of books, and occasionally find time to play video games!
