Over the last 2 and a half years I have successfully implemented multiple deployments of cloud based and on premise D365 projects mainly focused in the Not For Profit sector. I have also managed upgrade and migration projects.

Military Headquarters, Telford - Deployed Operations Warrant Officer 2012 - PresentDeployed Operations Warrant Officer (Field Operations / Programme Manager) and Lead Program Manager for the successful service transition and operational deployment of a secure IT system to multiple sites across Afghanistan. Responsible for providing pre-transition business impact analysis and identified key areas of risk and the development and implement of subsequent mitigation strategies as part of risk register management. Regularly liaising with representatives from logistical agencies in ensuring both equipment and manpower are in the right place within set timeframes across international boundaries. Ensured the efficient transfer of knowledge when briefing senior executives, board level and all stakeholders at regular intervals regarding project progress. Other responsibilities and achievements included:• Minimised the impact of change to system users and support teams whilst ensuring minimum disruption to usual business• Ensured members of the Operational Deployment Team and system users gained maximum benefits from the deployed system software applications, and an increased speed of adoption, through conducting Training Needs Analysis• Brought together three medium-sized operational teams, which included third and fourth line contractor support, through the development of a communication strategy• Project managed the service transition and system testing phases, to include a full system build, application installation and scenario-based testing. Resulted in a seamless deployment

Operations Warrant Officer and Operational Change / Project Manager accountable for the successful transition of 350 full and part-time users when upgrading to a new suite of business enhancing software applications. Responsible for coordinating an incremental staff training programme, to include the liaison between Heads of Departments and third party training vendors. Achievements included:• Analysed change impact and identified areas of risk, which resulted in the Board signing off a draft change plan. Consulted on the development of a new information management strategy, enabling full stakeholder understanding and realisation of the new software• Ensured business wide awareness and full stakeholder buy in through the production and delivery of briefings and presentation of the roadmap to Change of Heads of Department

Operations Warrant Officer and Business Change Manager responsible, in a consultancy role, for the provision of valuable business change support in relation to the upgrade of processes utilised to streamline information management and exploitation. Highlighted and communicated improvements to be exploited after the introduction of a new shared information. Other responsibilities and achievements included:• Instrumental in enhancing the senior executive decision making process through the successful delivery of substantial improvements in the collection, presentation and analysis of captured data• Enabled System Engineers to easily identify causes of systems failure through improving the way metrics and KPIs were identified and utilised to enhanced system functionality

Communications Warrant Officer and Strategic Operations / Project manager responsible for the successful nationwide delivery of complex overseas ICT infrastructure and systems projects at enterprise level. Undertook network and service management of fixed and mobile ICT services across international sites and the incident management of data and equipment losses, cryptographic compromise and electronic / cyber attacks. Other responsibilities and achievements as Communications Warrant Officer included:• Ensured a successful gateway between multinational systems within given security constraints through effectively liaising with other NATO Force Communications Systems Managers• Enabled migration of more than 150 users from legacy IT systems to the MoD’s Defence Information Infrastructure System through successful business change management• Responsible for managing all ICT networks and satellite communications within Helmand Province in Afghanistan for a six month deployed period

Project Manager within a technical development and commercial liaison position, responsible for working collaboratively with system contractors in the development of a new military wide area network (WAN) system capability for international operations. Developed a range of train-the-trainer courses for Managers, Engineers and Specialist Operators to utilise new capabilities as on-site Technical and Management Training Consultant. Other responsibilities and achievements as Project Manager included:• Accountable for the project management of system acceptance tests which included the system’s first operational trial deployed across multiple locations• Facilitated executive suite briefings on system capability development progress against project milestones• Technical authorship of system documentation, engineering and operations manuals• Mentored more than 40 personnel and dealt with the personal development planning and assessment of technical ability given delegated authority
