Managing a portfolio of targeted sports involved in the Ontario High Performance Sport Initiative (OHPSI);• Providing performance planning support to non OHPSI sports that leads to successful outcomes by the sports.• Demonstrating effective leadership and support to facilitate and implement the Sport Science / Sport Medicine plan that contributes to the identified objectives of the sport.• Developing an understanding of the athlete development pathway and providing feedback on the impact of the investment, as well as areas of concern.• Demonstrating an ongoing commitment to building relationships within CSIO, key sport system stakeholders, and PSO / NSO representatives.• Liaising with Director, Performance Services staff to facilitate the integration of appropriate sport science and sport medicine services for targeted programs.• Liaising with the Lead, Coach Development and Lead, Sport Science Education on the coach education and professional development initiatives for partnered targeted sports.

• Work directly with targeted Paralympic sports and Own The Podium High Performance Advisors to ensure that Paralympic sports have an integrated sport science and sport medicine plan and well-constructed and functioning sport science and sport medicine Integrated Support Teams.• Work collaboratively with the COPSI Network to develop expertise and awareness of Paralympic sport science and sport medicine research and performance trends.• Provide expertise and mentoring to Paralympic sports in the areas of sport science, sport medicine, and the planning and periodization of training.• Provide the Canadian Paralympic Committee with at-Games expertise and guidance regarding effective deployment and management of sport science and sport medicine services.• Work with the Own The Podium Lead Sport Science and Sport Medicine Advisor to promote the development of a strong network of sport science and sport medicine professionals with both the COPSI Network and external providers.• Participate as a member in the National Sport Science, Medicine Advisory (NSSMAC) Committee.

Provide physical conditioning and sport science support to match officials appointed to the Men’s and Women’s World Rugby Sevens World Series competitions, which recently included the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.Monitor training and performance loads using Polar®, GPSports® and VX Sport® sport science technologies.Collate and analyse physiological testing, training and performance data to report to World Rugby High-Performance Sevens Referee Manager.Provide performance analysis services to male and female match officials and teams at World Rugby Sevens World Series competitions, which recently included the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.Co-ordinate and manage the technological infrastructure of the Performance Analysis Area at World Rugby Sevens World Series competitions and associated multi-sport events.Produce and present performance-related video and statistical content for key stakeholders and management teams participating in the World Rugby Sevens World Series.Analysis and database management of key performance data, producing content detailing the structure of the game of Rugby Sevens.Manage, research and review current performance analysis practices and technologies for department and service development, including bespoke systems such as World Rugby’s ‘Athlete Management System’.
