I have over 25 years experience with expertise in regional geology, mineral exploration and geoscience data (as recognised by my Geological Society of Australia (GSA) accreditation). I have a broad knowledge of all aspects of geology, but my speciliast skills lie in regional geology and geodynamics, mineral systems and exploration, synthesis of data, and outreach and geotourism.I am also experienced with various GIS and geospatial software and methods. And I have had a long involvement with the GSA including with the Hunter Valley Branch and serving a term on the Governing Council.I spend my time consulting via GEMS (Geoscience, Exploration and Mineral Systems) - see www.gemsgeoscience.com.au, operating guided tours along the Newcastle Coastal Geotrail and through Glenrock SCA via GNT (Geotrail and Naure Tours) - see www.geotrailandnaturetours.com.au, and as a Regional Coordinator with the Teacher Earth Science Education Programme (TESEP), helping teachers teach Earth Science to the (hopefully) next generation of geoscientists.I’m really pleased to be part of Geoscience Australia’s team working on the Delamerian-Curnamona-Darling as part of Exploring for the Future.
