A two-year secondment to the UWinsite project: http://www.uwindsor.ca/uwinsite/Partnered with Deloitte Canada, we are replacing our current Student Information System and Financial Information System, and introducing a new Student Engagement System to the campus. In close collaboration with our University Registrar, I am co-leading the Student Administration Functional Team to replace the SIS (Registrar's Office, Admissions and Records, Academic Advisement, Cashiers' Office, Financial Aid & Awards, other Student Services) with Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.* Working with my 27-person team to design, configure, and test the Campus Solutions configuration, data conversions, and custom developments.* Developing the strategy to reconstruct the University's extensive reporting requirements (Office of Institutional Analysis, provincial IQAP, UCAPT, Registrar's Office), with an emphasis on improving access and usability for users of these data products.* Consulting with academic units, administrative offices, and policy bodies to review and revise University policies and processes as needed.* Collaborating with the other Stream Leads and the Project Management Team to identify and minimize project risks, coordinate solutions to shared challenges, and communicate progress with the Executive Committee.* Working with academic and service groups across campus to ensure that the implementation supports their needs, and to help prepare for changes to University practices where needed.* Collaborating with the Change Management Team to review and support training, communication, and change management plans. * Over the course of my appointment, BES student enrollment grew 119% (compared to 28% across Ontario Environmental Studies programs, and compared to 4.3% for the University of Windsor), and the BES graduating class grew 333%.* Led program structure and regulation changes through the Senate PDC process, and negotiated course scheduling and seating reserve changes across 10 departments and 5 Faculties. In 2008/09, 100% of graduating students needed between two and six exceptions to meet graduation requirements; by 2014/15, only 13% of students required an exception to meet requirements.* Launched the BES program's annual Entry, Mid-Program, and Exit Surveys, and held the program's first Students' Program Development Retreat.* Supported the Environmental Studies Club in their initiatives, including development of a student-run Peer Mentoring Program.* Led the BES Program Committee through development of the program's first Graduate Attributes and Knowledge Inventory and Program Learning Outcomes.* Wrote one of U Windsor's first cyclical program review self-studies in the new Ontario Institutional Quality Assurance Process (IQAP).

* Managed the change process for the Associate Dean's Office and staff to transition from retiring ADUA to incoming ADUA: increasing staff autonomy, and empowering their latent desire for greater orientation towards student service and problem-solving.* Investigated backlog of academic discipline cases halted in the ADUA Office, creating more streamlined and more thoroughly documented processes where required.* Moved Science Program Development Committee towards a more collaborative, advisory orientation.* Established a more collaborative, mentoring relationship between the ADUA Office and the Science Student Society executive.
