A small portion of staff were asked to stay and help build a small ISP by keeping as many of intagr8’s customers as possible. My role was to contact as many customers and possible and sign them on with RS Comms. RS Comms was sold to NZTG (New Zealand Technology Group) within 3 months time and merged into there group.

The task was to speak with as many residential customers as possible, with a goal to upgrade or resign the customers on to a new or existing plan. Within the first 6 months, I became one of the top 5 agents for the company. As, the role became second nature I managed to become part of the top 3 agents consistently. This allowed me to the win #1 spot on multiple occasions over my time with Active. Little did I know back then that this job was the beginning of a career in the communications industry.
