As an ex-regulator of some 16-years, I understand the expectations of government and the broader public. As chair of national committees on technical standards, I have a thorough knowledge of the principles behind product regulation and the policy objectives they support. As a business and compliance manager, I bring the discipline and risk management skills needed in this highly regulated environment.Above all however, I believe my real strength is my ability to relate to people at all levels. My experience has brought me to understand the importance of listening, empathy and communication with everyone in a respectful and cooperative way.
