Quickly moved into managing virtualization, systems and storage in all corporate, dev and production environments. VMware ECX, Windows, Linux, Netapp, EMC, Active Directory. Responsible for uptime of all infrastructure in production environments. Certified in Netapp storage administration. Designed and managed network and systems in data center colocation facility.

I worked for a satellite ISP that provided voice and internet services across the globe. Traveled domestic and internationally to install satellite communication equipment including many locations in the US, Alaska, Philippines, Japan, and Mexico. Was On call during summer months to drive trailers mounted with satellite antennas and equipment to forest fires to support incident teams fighting the fires. Worked shift work for the NOC and eventually managed the NOC. Obtained CCNP certification and redesigned the ISP backbone network and updated the routing and switching equipment.
