Complete FS has arranged over £5 billion in first and second charge loans since being formed in 1993, some 27 years ago. Dealing only with mortgage intermediaries Complete FS has over 40 lenders in the niche markets such as adverse, Buy To Let, secured loans, bridging and commercial. Complete FS is an approved distributor for a number of Networks and loan suppliers.

Linx FS was born in Oct 2009 after having successfully cared & nurtured a great group of professional advisers at BDS. It is still very much a people industry & Linx FS has always wanted to work with great individuals that care about the business. In January 2013 Linx FS joined forces with In Partnership to offer a special service & the best financial products around.

Joined BDS in 1996 as the Sales Manager with responsibility for sales of ‘packaged’ mortgage loans to mortgage brokers and IFA’s. The mid 90’s saw the emergence of niche lending such as Sub-Prime, Buy To Let and Self Certification. Lenders were keen to engage packagers such as BDS to help promote their products and ensure they fitted lending policy. I was recruited to develop the broker proposition & deliver a sustainable alternative to high street lending.An important part of the success of BDS was the strong relationship between the lenders and the ‘packager’. BDS always promoted the products effectively, compliantly & without deviating from credit policy. In 2000 I was promoted to Operation Director with responsibility to run the sales, marketing and mortgage processing departments. Through broker feedback we enhanced the ‘broker desk’ and introduced an on-line ‘AIP’ facility. In 2003 became the Managing Director of BDS Group and became responsible for running the business. Through sustained broker confidence BDS was able to create a regulated mortgage network in 2004 when many ‘packagers’ remained non-regulated. This gave BDS momentum in the market & achieved a number of industry awards. BDS also held their own industry awards which were well attended by brokers, lenders & celebrities! In February 2008 BDS Group successfully sold its majority shareholding to the Skipton Group. BDS was always able to diversify into new avenues of financial services & adapt to new regulations & disciplines.

Joined Portman Building Society as Branch Manager of the Hedge End office, with 3 staff. Hedge End was a feeder office for Southampton along with 3 other branches. At this time the Society attracted a relatively small percentage of mortgage lending from brokers. My primary objective was to grow this suburban satellite office by increasing mortgage sales in the areas of B2C and B2B. This was achieved through effective marketing & simple, honest broker relationships. Two promotions followed which included Area Manager of Southampton and finally Regional Manager of South in 1994. The main focus was to engage with the intermediary & generate multiple product sales for mortgages, savings and current accounts. Key achievements:~Youngest Manager to run a branch at that time (age 21). ~Managed the Southampton region & achieved target throughout tenure.~Successfully identified new Southampton premises & moved within 9 months. ~Developed a unique marketing & CRM strategy for intermediaries 2 years before the Society adopted systems centrally. ~Regularly attended knowledge sharing meetings with the business partners, others Society’s and internally. Part of team to look at enhancing the society’s product proposition & implementation.~Gained a ‘broker’ following through professional service delivery which gave platform for future businesses and proposition. As I moved branches a good number of the brokers would transfer their elegance to the new office. ~Running 16 branches, with 80+ staff within Society budget & achieving targets set throughout the year.~Always to exceed intermediary lending targets, whilst competing internally with the corporate account team.~Lending mandate of £150,000, staying within credit policy.
