I have designed soft goods for medical devices and athletic equipment for over five years with an extensive knowledge of medical grade textiles. My work with leather and heavy textiles goes back to 1989. I work closely with Mechanical Engineers, Physical Therapists, Marketing and Production to create clean, modern designs. When a design is close to being complete, I digitize all patterns to be used in documentation and import them into SolidWorks EPDM Vault or equivalent. I have traveled to Beijing, Ningbo and Shanghai, China to set up production lines and ensure quality steps are being followed in the production of my designs. I also have dual citizenship to the EU.When not designing soft goods, I create large scale leather mosaic art. My works have been shown in galleries around the Northern California including the Oakland Museum of CA.
