For example, cross-team working and supporting Area 14 and Area 11, by mentoring staff to increase their memberships per shift.▪ During the height of the pandemic, I was part of a trial for the Big Garden Birdwatch, which involved making phone calls to follow up people's requests for their bird watching pack and gaining memberships/donations via telephone calls. It proved to be a great success and the role involved high technical skills, using PC telephone software, following data on Excel spreadsheets, and adding new data in accurately with high GDPR standards. My recorded phone calls are now being used as examples to the wider RSPB team for training.▪ Presented learning and development presentations to a team of new starters on how to stop people effectively whilst out fundraising.▪ Created learning resources, such as infographics and fact files for other fundraisers to use for their conversations, improving their performance.▪ I made the most memberships per shift at Sherwood Forest over the summer period where I also had the most shifts, which meant the consistency level was very high. This was in addition to mentoring new starters and helping to conduct interviews with my Area Manager.▪ I made over 550 memberships in my time as a Fundraiser at the RSPB.

Presenter of Gem Anthems, an upbeat radio shows live 3 times a week to celebrate the weekend. During the shows, I was responsible for updating social media posts, engaging people to listen by creative clickable content. As well as my presenting role, I was the music scheduler for Gem Anthems. I had to keep the categories in RCS Selector up to date and checking any song clashes with others during the day, making it ready for playout. I would also input into music choices and look at music testing to refresh the songs played. In addition to this, I was also responsible for checking to see if the whole day had enough songs for timing purposes and make the ‘non-live’ hours of the station’s day sound polished, to make sure everything played out as it should when no-one was around. I also produced audio for presenters to play out in the daytime, organised Selector/Linker categories and was on hand for technical support.Event wise, I hosted half marathons, presented exciting outdoor events such as Splendour Festival and tech-operated other events across the East Midlands.

For example, I was responsible for the content of the Black Country and Shropshire’s breakfast show where I was a co-producer, and then led to becoming responsible for the whole group's breakfast show social media, audio production, editing and website content due to my experience, knowledge, and audio editing skills.In 2013 to 2018, I was responsible for the output of Free Radio 80s after gaining trust from my superior colleagues as an important asset to the station’s running. This involved adding songs to the database with cut numbers ready for the music programmer to schedule. I also made sure the automated hours sounded polished and timed them to make sure there was no silence. As well as this, I presented the breakfast show on the station, which was mainly pre-recorded but achieved high RAJAR results.Accomplishments:- During my time at Free Radio 80s, the station received the highest RAJAR listening figures and the highest amount of breakfast show listeners under the brand.- I was responsible for posting and scheduling social media posts for all of the Free Radio breakfast shows, uploading podcasts and making sharable content. Hosting events across the West Midlands which received great feedback from colleagues and the public.- Supporting colleagues through challenging times and keeping professional and level-headed during a radio station buyout.
