Leading and coaching a team to generate leads and to identify customer requirements to provide a high quality of customer service and to achieve and exceed sales and service targets for profit. The role required the building and maintaining of relationships for existing and new customers within the local community to improve sales and service performance. I was responsible for the interviewing of all new and existing customers and the underwriting of all lending and investing before being submitted for approval. I was also responsible for the cross-selling insurance and ancillary products on an advised and non-advised basis against challenging sales targets, whilst also ensuring the provision of quality customer care from me and from my team. I was also responsible for the audit activity within the branch and had to ensure the consistent adherence to the Society's standard service and sales processes along with all internal and external regulatory, operational, compliance and credit systems.Key achievements during my tenure were:- Branch in top 5 performing branch in 3 of the last 4 years - Exceeded sales results across all target areas - Conversion rate of 30% from application to written business- Increased mortgage business by 10% year on year for 6 years in a stagnant market- Increased insurance penetration from 12% to 35% in one year and maintained at over 30%- Home insurance conversion quote to sale at 34%- Highest average GI premium- 100% Audit Rating 2011 – 2012 and 2012-2013- 47% NPS rating against a target of 40%- 100% Mystery Shopper rating for 2011 – 2012 and 2012 – 2013- Strong links with local property developers within strict regulatory guidelines, ensuring that we are the lender of choice for their residential developments
