3rd Part contractor Managing all MRO spend and investment recovery for SABIC, Mt. Vernon Site. Manage 12 staff members. Responsible for direct purchasing for all North America Cooking Platforms.Accomplishments:• Hired to hit the ground running immediately. Managed over $100M in spend. Delivered annual Purchasing Result including, OPI, ECI and RMI of $2.4M. Achieved $3.2M in EC projects working with Cost out Engineers and Global strategies.• Assigned by management to stay stationed in Memphis, TN and represent purchasing group based out of Springfield, TN. Handle daily activities and issues for new launch of cook plant in Memphis since March of 2013.• Managed supplier transition of L’ Assomption, CAN plant closing to Memphis, TN plant new startup.• Procured and help design parts to print for 33 new redesigned projects introduced in Memphis in the commodities described below and assisting in line setup, training in KANBAN, 5S, Quality and Safety.• Suppliers and commodities include CNC and Stamping (SS and Carbon), Injection Mold, Glass, Racking, Grates, Fasteners and Wire Harnesses from all over the globe.• Final negotiation and contract executions.

Responsible for purchasing for Evansville Division and Corporate Category Manager. Accomplishments:• Rapid attainment of goals and productive assimilation. Achieved $875,000 savings in conversion costs and $1.6 million in working capital savings. Reduced storeroom inventory by $550,000.• Assigned by management to decommission Jackson, TN facility. Eliminated roadblocks from existing contracts, relocated assets, managed auctions, and severed agreements with minimal impact. Assisted with similar projects in LaVergne, TN, Oxford, MS and the final closing of Evansville, IN manufacturing. • Managed metals, plastics, electrical and all material handling equipment for North American Region. Strategically moved assets and negotiated lease / purchase contracts worth over $40 million / year.• Promoted to role of NPR (New Product Readiness) in 2011 managing injection molding suppliers on delivery, quality, cost effectiveness, and lean practices for new launch refrigeration projects in North America and Mexico..• Managed rubber, gaskets, adhesives, steel stampings, badges, and polystyrenes commodities for Direct Procurement in 2010.• Final negotiation and contract executions.

Responsible for managing purchasing teams at each facility and National Contracts.Accomplishments:• Achieved and exceeded goals for first year by learning business and saving $125,000 from cost take out.• Provided direction to managers and staff at four processing facilities. Managed cost reduction and lean activities for storeroom inventory, day-to-day purchasing for these facilities, including feed mills and hatcheries.• Managed RFPs, awarded business, and wrote contracts and agreements for fabrication materials, electrical supplies and systems, motors, belting material, waste management, pest control, and pumps for over 40 facilities on national scale.• Trained in MRO software including implementation for facilities in latest version of MAXIMO.
