My goal is to deliver the highest level of service in the most professional way possible and to add value to both customers by ensuring the company is properly accounting under the appropriate accounting standards and solve their business issues. I deliver this goal by using my knowledge of the applicable accounting standards, services Cohen and Company offers, as well as various other knowledgeable service professionals to enable customers to solve their business needs.I currently lead Cohen & Company's Private Equity Services Group. I am responsible for coordinating and ensuring our clients receive exceptional client service experience. I have over 20 years of public accounting experience providing auditing expertise and management consultation to public and private companies as well as companies with multi-national and domestic companies. My responsibilities include leading crossfunctional teams of 4-12 individuals in successfully completing audits and providing non-audit services to client; identifying, assessing, and analyzing technical financial areas; providing best practice industry advice to client management; and forecasting and helping project my individual engagement profitability. I am also a member of Ohio Society of CPA's and the AICPA. My experience includes performing complex financial analysis over various financial areas such as revenue recognition, goodwill, inventory, accounting for income taxes, variable interest entities, and multiple forms of financial reporting. In addition to these complex areas, I also have financial due diligence in both buy and sell side transactions experience as well as extensive experience over employee benefit plans, International Financial Reporting Standards audits (IFRS), carve-out audits, and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (SOX 404).
