This role was very indicative of how my skills could be used across various disciplines and all areas of the company's requirements. It involved me being responsible for all their Management Accounts, their HR, Health & Safety and I was often their go-to person for new projects and ideas to bring about changes within the back office support team and also for client facing solutions. I was given the role to also implement web based reporting using Business Intelligence software and for me to build the team to deliver this as a core service offered internally and externally. Acquire’s drive was to provide solutions to suit customer requirements which were often based on a wide variety data. The reporting was managed through the increasing complexities of their data rich systems and run by a team that reported to me.A key strategy for the Finance team was to deliver quicker and even more detailed levels of reporting to clients to help them in decision making about their purchasing and to help them achieve their own corporate goals.
