Role: December 2011 – Present : Sharepoint Products Technical Lead - Designed and implemented a major new Sharepoint 2013 environment to act as a key Collaboration Centre for the organization. - Undertook support and stabilization of legacy WSS Sharepoint infrastructures. - Designed, installed and configured a new Sharepoint environment on the public internet; migrated existing content required to educate staff as part of potential major acquisition whilst addressing security and content separation challenges. - Implemented and configured Sharepoint environments on the public internet to host several different Help Centres for customers of the various Online Banking platforms of different bank subsidiaries. - Designed, installed and configured new Sharepoint 2013 environment to facilitate bank's Board of Directors' worldwide collaboration. Met high performance and uptime expectations and migrated existing content seamlessly without downtime. Implemented Federated Service applications to provide consistent User Profiles and Search. - Supported upgrade to bank's Faster Payments infrastructure. Managed queues to co-ordinate test and live transactions through Biztalk as required, and performed transactional testing to prove infrastructure stability whilst monitoring for and resolving any transaction errors. - Designed, installed and configured new ISA Server and IIS Server infrastructure to integrate a CRM solution with Exchange. I was initially hired as an Infrastructure Consultant and subsequently operated as a Software Development Consultant and IT Manager. Responsible for all service and system management within this small company whilst also focusing on bespoke application development both for internal use and hosting services for clients. I was retained by WS Atkins after takeover of MSL Engineering to consult on and assist with IT integration activities.• Designed and deployed new network / server infrastructure.• Co-designed and implemented an MI reporting and personnel management database. • Acted as IT Lead for Loss Adjustment (Insurance) Consultancy Projects• Delivered IT project to integrate MSL into Group IS systems infrastructure
