I am currently working as a Sales Negotiator for Barons Estate Agents. My role involves marketing and advertising of properties, which includes generating high quality images that accurately represent the property in the best way possible. Organising and compiling house profiles for printed housing advertisements which are given directly to potential buyers, in addition to generating on-line housing portfolios. As Barons is a small, independently run estate agency I also contributed to the marketing of the company, during which, I was involved in the development of a fully branded Barons Estate Agency smart car. I am also responsible for improving company equipment for marketing purposes. My other roles included organising and conducting viewings. Conducting viewings improved my communication skills as I had to communicate with potential buyers and also provide feedback to vendors. If the feedback was negative I have to troubleshoot any issues and suggest ways for improvement. If after a view a buyer made an offer on a property, it is then my responsibility to negotiate offers to get the best possible outcome for the client.

As a Barista and waiter at Rick Steins international restaurant, I would greet and seat the guests, organise there drinks and take there ordering, adapting to any changes they would require. The reputation of the restaurant, and the nature of the clientele, meant that everything had to be delivered to a high professional standard and I took pride in getting positive feedback from my customers. On occasion I did have to deal with customer complaints and ensured again that I reacted to them sensitively and professionally.

In Australia I worked on a dairy farm as a Farm hand. My duties included feeding of the livestock, monitoring the health of new-born calves, checking and maintaining fences (both electric and barbed). I also got involved in general farm maintenance, cleaning and maintaining the quad bikes in good working order. I also became competent in milking cows, setting up and cleaning up of milking machines and other daily milking processes.
