Phil Webber has over 30 years experience with management systems and measurement frameworks, the development of related business practices, and associated verification and auditing activities. He has spent the last 18 years specializing in management system implementation and auditing, as well as related performance measurement and financial evaluation. Phil has led or been a member of the core team for numerous integrated management systems and ISO-based system implementations over that time. With over 8,000 hours of financial auditing experience before moving into management system verification, Phil has conducted numerous reviews of management practices against relevant standards and regulatory requirements, particularly EMS to ISO 14001 and OH&SMS to OHSAS 18001 assessments. He has worked with ISO 14001 and 18001 registrars and understands their requirements as well as their differences. Phil has been steadily broadening his management system work to include multiple systems integration. Leveraging his integrated EHS systems experience, he has spent most of the last few years providing fully integrated (‘operational excellence’ e.g.) systems support. This includes helping organizations ‘manage for sustainability’ or achieve CSR goals. His experience with management systems development and implementation is marked by an approach that optimizes system integration with overarching organizational strategy, imperatives, practices and culture.
