I have been a designer for over 20 years, specialising in retail design for most of that time. I consider myself a cross-over designer, originally coming from an engineering and development background, I also specialise in creative design, with added work in digital experiences. This allows the creation of blue-sky ideas and concepts for clients and brands whilst also keeping an eye on cost and realistically how designs will eventually be manufactured and delivered to market. This is the cornerstone of any design process to keep concepts viable and realistic whilst still delivering the best possible experience for the consumer.Over the years I have built up a vast amount of experience in taking a project or concept off the page and delivering it in its entirety. From development, manufacture and print to installation and project management. I am extremely proud of my portfolio, having designed for a huge array of major names and brands. Including Philips, AkzoNobel, KitchenAid, The National Lottery in the UK and Camelot in the US (Illinois Lottery). Major sports labels including Nike, Adidas, Pro:Direct and The North Face. Food and Grocery labels such as Cadbury (Mondelez International), Green & Blacks, Lindt, Tesco, Sainsbury's and many of the Health and Beauty giants including, Boots, M&S, Superdrug, Debenhams, with most of the LVMH and P&G perfume brands. Since 2008, I have run adapting sized, multi-discipline, design teams covering creative, development and design for manufacture for projects as small as a simple POS counter solution for FMCGs right up to large concessions and entire store design and layouts. I am an expert in SolidWorks & Visualize and my experience in all aspects of retail design is extensive, examples of my work can be seen in stores on every high street in the UK.I am always available to chat about any new challenge you might have...
