I have been working in security since 2013. I started off working for a company called eye catch Ltd who specialised in retail security of supermarkets and local shops in areas of high crime and anti social behaviour. I enjoyed the job meeting people of all different social backgrounds and in general developing skills which are hard to get without actually experiencing the situation in the moment skills like communication awareness of your surroundings eg nearest police station hospital and many more. I left and started retail security work In 2015 after been accepted on to a new team of corporate security for FSG whom I finished up with in January 2020 after 5 Years service.I then joined aplona where I worked in the royal college of surgeons Stephen green from January till March .When I got accepted by bidvest noonans to work in their site Guinness storehouse site in Dublin City centre I worked there when covid first hit our lives and the storehouse was shut down for a period of time this was the reason of me having to leave .I gained employment with Ktech security whom I worked for from November 2020 till August 2021 .August 2021 I joined Manguard plus to work in there data centre sites round Dublin 22/24, I started off in Construction role where duties included patrols of data centre internal/external areas unsecured data halls , generator yards , CRAH areas and doors not on access control, December 2021 one data hall went live and another was still to be constructed i was promoted to Reception Desk Data officer. My duties included updating internal/external patrol / fire exist area / perimeter areas / IFMB badge checks and Monitoring Lenel onguard system also responding to Alarmed doors and sync in with SOC to investigate root cause of alarm and offender and many more duties. This role also included supporting the Vendor construction company in manys ways applying last minute access control requests to implementing Traffic management plans to accommodate chimmy bellys been erected in the Gen yards and Conducting Inductions with contractors whos first time working in the DC, many more duties preformed in the role.May of 2021 I was Promoted to Shift Supervisor where my role involved the running of security within multiple Data centers ,Ensuring all policies and procedures are implemented, clients standards are been met,Health and safety Procedures are been met,Access control,Monitoring sites through out Dublin , Alarms systems, data security, Microsoft Office,Management i worked this role till March 2023.Vendor sec for Qualtrics.
