I have been in the ministry for forty-years and have been a pastor for twenty-three of those years. In the ministry, I have acquired skills in teaching, administration, pastoral care, and speaking. Much effort has gone into the area of teaching and training people in professional settings. Administration detail has included program reorganization, motivating key people to accomplish tasks, and meeting goals. Pastoral care has been a focal point of my life. It has included counseling, crisis management, and personal attentiveness.In 2001 I became a certified counselor for the Department of Children and Family Services. Basically, I managed cases of abused and neglected children. My position was to help reunify families back together.In 2015 I became a certified chaplain for the Grand Forks Police Department in Grand Forks, ND. I rode with policemen and was available to counsel those who needed it on the job.
