Since primary school I have always wanted to be a writer. I became a teacher and trade union activist and was deeply involved in educational issues. My other passion is music, listening, reviewing and writing. To relax I like games, football, films, reading ( mostly sci-fi, spiritual, music), socialising and, of course, listening to and making music.I am now co-owner and manager of a website dedicated to reviewing music of all kinds leaning towards progressive rock and jazz; also literature and films.I have had a book published entitled "Within You, Without You" which is a sociological, cultural and musical history of Britain (1945-1967) to positive reviews including one by my musical hero, Gary Brooker RIP. Other books on Dr Who (written by Benedict Jackson) and music and a history of the USA can be found on the website (to which musicians and labels are invited to send music for review):www.dimensions-in-sound-and-space.comI have also been a reviewer for the famous progressive rock magazine Acid Dragon (Lyon) for 25 years, and still going strong!
