T-Mobile uses the RAID Platform from WeDo Technologies as a dedicated BI suite for Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management. RAID contains many custom built ETL flows to load call and event details, from many mobile network elements (switches, SBC’s, application servers etc) and IT systems (CRM, Billing, Roaming Clearinghouse etc), into a dedicated RA & Fraud data warehouse. On this data warehouse a large number of custom built validations and dashboards are running to help the Revenue Assurance and Fraud teams to spot anomalies. My responsibilities are: - Impact analysis for projects- Technical design & Implementation of new ETL flows and validations- 3rd line support

T-Mobile uses Comptel IntantLink to provision subscriber settings to various network elements such as HLR, LDAP and STP. As a member of the RMR team (which is part of the Technical Design & Development department) my responsibilities are:- Technical design for changes to Comptel InstantLink.- Software development for Comptel InstantLink.- 3rd line support.

The IT Business Intelligence team is responsible for the design and the development of the data warehouse, reporting solutions and data analytics used within T-Mobile Netherlands. We design and develop interfaces to source systems and ELT processes (based on Oracle PL/SQL, Informatica PowerCenter, UNIX scripting) to load the data in our enterprise data warehouse (Teradata). Via DataMarts we turn this data into business information (SAP Business Objects reports, Custom built Dashboards and Operational Data Quality compares) and support the generation of in-depth business knowledge (using SAS Enterprise Miner). We also support our marketing department with their campaigning activities (SAS Customer Intelligence). My tasks in the BI team:- Feasibility studies for BI solutions.- Define and design interfaces between source systems and the Data Warehouse.- Design of ELT processes.- Data modeling for the data warehouse.Key activities:- BI support for the introduction of new products and services by T-Mobile.- Migration of the data warehouse from Oracle to Teradata.- Introduction of an industry standard (Telecommunications) canonical data model in the data warehouse.- Improve operational stability of the SAS platform.

The Enterprise Integration team is part of the Technical Design & Development department of T-Mobile. As an analyst, I had the following responsibilities:- Feasibility studies for EI solutions.- Design and implement interfaces between IT Systems and the Enterprise Service Bus based on the TIBCO product suite (TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO BusinessWorks).- Help define the SOA Architecture.- Design and implement Business Process Management (based on webMethods BPMS & webMethods Integration Server).- Design and implement Business Activity Monitoring (originally based on TIBCO BusinessEvents).- Design and implement B2B webservice portal based on IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliance.- Design and implement web-based tooling used for maintenance & support (using open source tools like Java, Jetty & Ajax).- 3rd line support on EI Landscape.

During my time at Logica, I worked primarily as a software developer for several of their large projects. Although I started out as a C++ programmer on SUN Solaris, the focus shifted towards N-tier applications using Java, Oracle and several components of the TIBCO product suite.

During my time with ICT, I worked as a Microsoft Visual C++ programmer building client-server applications (VC++ GUI’s and Oracle databases).
