I am Philip Kim in charge of overseas sales at Genomecare Korea, I am delighted to introduce our company and service. Genomcare, we are a prenatal genetic testing company, is serving NIPT (Non-invasive prenatal Test) &PGS (Pre-implantation genetic Screening) service base on NGS (Next generation Sequencing) to our customer utilizing proton and S5XL (ThermoFisher) platform which are screening chromosomal abnormalities of Fetus and maternal and performed on Embryo during IVF treatment to screen for numerical chromosomal abnormalities. Mostly our distributors are dealing with Gynecology&Obstetrics or Infertility center. “After 10 weeks of pregnancy, NIPT can detect whether your baby is at risk of Trisomy13,18,21 and sex chromosome aneuploidies.” At-risk pregnancies have traditionally always been handled by Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, but NIPT has opened the doors for all OB/GYN practitioners to screen their clients for fetal abnormalities. This group discusses the importance of NIPT, the science behind it and it's future direction for expectant mothers of all ages regardless of maternal age risk or family genetics.
