About Philip Carter

I am a U.S. Army Special Forces Officer in the process of transitioning from active-duty service to the private sector in June 2024. Throughout my eleven-year career I have earned the reputation of being a reliable problem solver and loyal team leader who delivers protective solutions by researching proven methods; discerning analytical patterns; and leading improvements in efficiency that mitigate risk. While being faced with some of the Department of Defense’s most complex challenges both at home and abroad, I have learned that taking the time to carefully analyze situations is paramount to finding the best results. I take this systematic approach to problem solving because quality is one of my top priorities. As a leader charged with fostering the relationships of stakeholders and teammates, I also take the time to carefully learn about everyone’s needs to establish and sustain personal partnerships with them. Additionally, I earn the trust of those around me by consistently delivering results and remaining calm and pragmatic during high-stress situations. My WHY is to calmly persevere through adversity so that others may be uplifted.Gallup Signature Strengths: Context | Harmony | Relator | Consistency | Responsibility
